Job Description

The Sales Trainer provides comprehensive sales, systems, and product training to new agents, veteran agents looking to improve performance, and new Supervisors. The Sales Trainer looks to achieve individual, team, department, and client objectives through a variety of ways including education, skills transfer, coaching, and motivation. The ideal candidate has a captivating personality, motivational, enthusiastic, and can self-manage in a fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classes
  • Work with Director of Training to develop training curriculum, assessments, and job aids
  • Facilitate Graduation Role Play Sessions
  • Use a variety of Adult Learning strategies to accomplish highest level of effectiveness
  • Work closely with management to assess current sales rep areas needing improvement
  • Work one-on-one with sales reps to reinforce behavior taught in training
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned to Sales Trainer by Director of Training

Skills & Experience

  • Associates Degree, or call center management experience equivalent
  • Experience in telecommunications, energy, and satellite radio a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Internet and computer skills
  • Strong understand of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Must possess strong work ethic and ability to work alone
  • Must be flexible and adapt well to change
  • Displays exceptional professionalism
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills
  • Must possess strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
